One of my fave go to snacks are these no bake brownie energy bites. It’s super easy to make and way cheaper then buying $3-$4 bars. No oven needed for this raw sweet treat.
These bites are not only great for adults, but a great snack for kids. It’s even great for 6+month babies, but opt out the salt. Before one babies salt requirement is less then 1g per day, which is mostly met by breastmilk/formula. Extra salt will be a burden to their tiny kidney’s and the kidney’s will not be able to function properly due to the excessive load. It has been proven to cause hypertension in the adult life. With that said skip the salt.

Chocolate Brownie Energy Bites
Ingredients: (Makes 8-10 balls)
2 cups medjool dates
3/4 cups cashews
3 tbsp cocoa powder (or carob)*
1/8 cup shredded coconut
Splash of vanilla extract and pinch of sea salt are optional
*Make sure the cocoa powder has no sugar, has 1 ingredient cocoa/carob, and is not processed with other stuff
1) Put all ingredients in food processor and process until a consistent texture
2) Grab a clear plastic wrap/bag and scoop desired amount of batter on the plastic (about 1.5 oz/scoop). Form a ball or bar. The plastic wrap will prevent hands getting dirty
3) Enjoy its Dar- licious ☺️
